Sleep Consistency > Duration

Sleep Consistency > Duration

"Turns out that almost everybody feels the impulse to sleep in on the weekend, especially if they've been out late the night before. However, the data show that keeping relatively consistent sleep and wake times is really going to enhance the quality and depth of your sleep." - AH, episode #84

So, if you stay up late this Saturday, it's better that you wake up at your usual time (ex. 7:00 am) on Sunday - even if you are sleeping fewer hours total. If you feel like you need more rest, it's better to take a nap in the afternoon.

Anyway, it's the weekend, so do whatever you want. Enjoy!
