Put your screen at eye level
Put your screen at eye level
When your eyes are pointed down, you become more drowsy and decrease performance. When your eyes are pointed straight or upward, you become more alert and focused.
If you want to maximize your focus during work, you need to put your screen (tablet, monitor, laptop, etc.) at eye level or higher
Things you can use:
Stack of books (Andrew's method)
A Standing Desk
Anything that works. Test out: a box, a small table, a pillow, whatever
Be aware that this is easier said than done. So for today, just try doing it for 15-20 minutes and test it out. It's harder when using a laptop. You could get a wireless mouse and keyboard (for $20-30) or a separate monitor.
