Once a week, reward yourself cognitively by saying "I'm on the right track”

Explanation: You don't only feel good when you reach the goals you set for yourself. You also get a spike of dopamine for acknowledging your progress. This pushes you to keep going and sets you up to receive unexpected rewards along the way. It's self-reinforcing.

So now that we're at the end of the week, all you have to do is think of your end goal and say: "I'm on the right track".
