How to get deeper sleep

Hey, here's what you learned so far. 1. Don't push through your sleepiness 💤. 2. Get morning sunlight 🌞 and 3. Stop caffeine at 3 pm ☕. Now, for today's tool:

Sleeping fasted is associated with a number of processes that relate to the 'lymphatic system'. The movement of lymph-like fluids and other fluids through the brain, and kind of sweeping out garbage disposal - AH

During sleep, your body should focus on recovering muscles, cells, emotions, and more. But if you eat too close to bed, your body gets too busy digesting the food and you don't recover well.

When you sleep fasted, however, you clear out of the metabolic debris and start autophagy. You also let your body enter deeper rest states because it doesn't have to worry about other things like digestion.

So ideally, you should stop eating 3-4 hours before bed. Most of us sleep around 10-12 at night. So, you need to stop eating around 7-8 pm.

Whether it's for circadian rhythms, optimal sleep, or even better health outcomes. This is crucial.

Action for the day

The 7-8 eating deadline is tough. You might finish work late, have a family you need to eat in line, or just love eating ice cream at night. I understand. But let's find a way around it.

Here's one for simplicity. For today, don't eat dinner

That's just today. You can eat double the lunch. Or eat a regular meal at 7 pm. Just don't eat late.

You will feel a little hungry. But it's worth it.

Don't eat after 8 pm. You'll get amazing sleep.

You can do it Reader!
