NSDR is one of Andrew’s core tools for enhancing your mental and physical health.
What it does: It makes you put your attention on different body parts and brings interoceptive awareness to your internal landscape. This mechanism puts your brain into a restorative state. Therefore, your cells, muscles, and nervous system can relax like they wouldn’t otherwise.
Why it’s helpful: NSDR makes you less anxious and stressed, improves your mental and exercise performance, and helps you fall and stay asleep if you struggle with that. So it’s great for all mental or physical health. It’s a must for most of us.
You can do it whenever you like. Huberman does it daily after lunch or when he can’t fall back asleep.

It’s a spectacular tool. So I really hope you do it . It’s only 8-10 minutes, you can do it anywhere, and you’ll feel fantastic afterward.
